This 8F No 8233 Locomotive badge is traditionally made, hand finished and enamelled. The 8F Class was designed by William Stanier and built by the North British Locomotive Company in 1940. The loco was built on the orders of the war department and was used in service in England and the Middle East . The configuration of the loco is 2-8-0 with a LMS & BR: 7F, later 8F power class. No 8233 is preserved at the Severn Valley Railway.
