This Ajax Barclay 0-6-0T Locomotive badge is traditionally made, hand finished and enamelled. Built for the Sulphide Corporation of London in 1918, 'Ajax' was requisitioned on completion by the Ministry of Munitions and sent to Persia where she remained for many years, latterly in the service of the Anglo-Persian Oil Company. Designed from scale drawings and photographs, this badge represents Ajax Barclay in all its glory and is the perfect addition to any steam enthusiasts collection. Ajax is part of the Isle of Wight Steam Railway Collection.
