This Bloomer Locomotive badge is traditionally made, hand finished and enamelled. "Wolverton" No.1009 is a replica of a LMS Bloomer Class locomotive and was designed by James McConnell for express passenger services between London and Birmingham and, from 1860, also from Rugby to Stafford. The configuration of the loco is 2-2-2. No 1009 is a static diplay at Milton Keynes Central station.
