This Brighton Evening Argus Locomotive badge is traditionally made, hand finished and enamelled in our factory in Birmingham.This locomotive is Class 73 (original number 73101) Electro Diesel was ordered by BR for pulling mixed-traffic trains across the BR Southern Region as part of their 1955 modernisation plan. The locomotive was built by English Elecrtic at the Vulcan Foundry between 1965 and 1967 . The configuration of the loco is Bo-Bo. This loco returned to operation with GB Railfreight after being bought out of preservation.
