This Deltic 55002 Kings Own Light Infantry (KOYLI) Locomotive badge is traditionally made, hand finished and enamelled. The Deltic is a Class 55 is a diesel electric locomotive that was ordered by BR for their high-speed express passenger services on the East Coast Main Line between London King's Cross and Edinburgh. This locomotive was built by English Electric at the Vulcan Foundry in 1961 . The configuration of the loco is Co-Co with a 1,650 bhp (1,230 kW) 2 power output. The locomotive is currently in the NRM collection.
