This Sir Brian Robertson Locomotive badge is traditionally made, hand finished. Sir Brian Robertson is a Class 42 Type 4 Warship Class diesel-hydraulic and was used on the Western Region of BR. Sir Brian Robertson was built at the BR Swindon Works in 1958 an was named after the Chairman of the British Transport Commission at the time. The Class 42's had a B-B configuration with a 90 mph (145 km/h) maximum speed.
